CertainTeed Unfaced Batts R38
These lightweight, unfaced fiberglass batts with low-density characteristics are intended for use in steel stud construction. These batts are designed to be friction-fit during installation. Unfaced or Kraft-faced ceiling batts are specifically engineered to be placed directly onto suspended ceiling systems. Faced batts do not include tabs and, when installed, they should be snugly positioned adjacent to one another.
